im on accutane right now and the truth is none of the products they just talked about don’t work.
Horrible. They used test subjects with very very mild acne. Of course those low-grade products will be effective on them. This whole study is friggin’ biased towards people with MINOR breakouts, and there are people with worse acne out there who spent waaay more money on products that don’t even work! (like me for instance!).
My dermatologist made my acne worst! She gave me Pro Oxy cleanser and a Diacneal and after a few months my acne become worst! And you know what? She said that maybe I need to take ACCUTANE! That’s bullshit!!!

Sure it makes sense. the problem could be poor liver function. Not liver disease, but the liver isn’t able to cleanse the body out properly and toxins build up, doesn’t matter if you eat healthy. People can eat all the junk food they want and not break out because of proper liver function. And I would never go to another dermatologist, I don’t want to live off meds, probably the worst thing I could of done. We need to learn to take care of our bodies in order for it to function properly
lol, when they showed the closeup of the oxy pads it was salicylic acid and the proactiv was BENZOYL peroxide, two completely different actives, and then they said, “these have the same active ingredient” what a terrible dermatologist. lol
Overall, benzoyl peroxide has been clinically proven to be more effective in treating acne, especially inflamed acne, so basically just look for benzoyl peroxide creams, they work the best, and if that doesn’t work, time to consult a derm.

Think of all of the people who eat clean and live a healthy lifestyle and still have acne, there are many.
Now think of alll of the people living a modern lifestyle of cigarette smoking, bar hopping (excessive drinking), and eating often at restaurants, and most of those people have clear skin.
I tried all of the natural stuff (tons of vitamins, more water, lemon juice, ACV, good diet , exercise, etc) and the ONLY thing that worked was a trip to a good derm.
notice how all test subjects were female. if you are male, you tend to get the worst kind of acne (its the hormones). this means that generally, over the counter surface treatments like proactiv prob wont work unless you have very mild acne. even if your female, you are lucky if these treatments fully work
Acne needs to be treated internally rather than externally. All these products do is treat symptoms and not get to the root of the cause. Say you have a pool of water with pumps constantly pumping in and out fresh water. If the pumps break, then the water will begin to get dirty and and make a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. It’s like spraying pesticides on the water to get rid of the mosquitoes rather then fixing the main problem, the pumps.

Toothpaste has fluoride in it, which is known to break out skin. And it is TOOTHpaste.
Those people all had like 4 zits. They should try the products on people that have real acne.

My cousins and sister all got amazing, clear skin from that product — (but I actually tried isotretinion and it didn’t help me at all. it ***** that the strongest product on the market didn’t work for me).

I totally agree those girls had no acne, they just had some pimples…Acne is like when your whole face is covered with pimples and really red….Like my face DD;
one more thing i forgot to mention. Coffee is an oily substance i suggest using Decaf as it has had the majority of oil steamed out of it.
sun on red lumps = sunburn = inflamation
milk INCLUDING soy milk… soy milk blocks your body from absorbing minerals your body needs. i also take tablets ( chewable since i cant swallow ) get urself a multi vitamin since i cant remmember the specific ones…. zink, magnesium and 2 others i forgot lol thats why i mentioned multi..coz it will no doubt have it all in there. Multi vitamins do have a small portion of everything yes but your body can only take in so much of everything per day.
coffee and smoking wont give u pimples but will dehydrate you so keep drinking water to avoid your skin from getting oily. alittle bit of sun will help dry up oil during the day but too much can cause red lumps to grow since it is incredibly sensetive skin. dont touch and dont think about your acne also if you have over oily skin there are oil free mousturisers out there. be persistant! dont expect results in a week. expect them within months ~ a year.
